Avidity Science’s Solo™ S Earns ACT Ecolabel Certification
Avidity Science has re-launched its Solo™ S Type 1 water purification system. This system is designed with sustainability in mind. It features reusable cartridges, an energy-saving standby mode, and mercury-free LED UV technology. Through its AvRecycle™ cartridge return program, used cartridges are disassembled, cleaned, and refilled for reuse to reduce waste.

BioAccord™ with RDa™ and ACQUITY Premier System Receives ACT Ecolabel Certification

Congratulations to Waters! The BioAccord™ with RDa™ mass detector is the first Waters LC-HRMS system to be awarded the ACT Ecolabel, recognized for energy-efficient operation, low manufacturing impact, renewable energy use, responsible chemical management, and recycled content in both product and packaging (steel containing 20% and aluminum 70%, resulting in roughly 30% for the system).
 
Building on this achievement, the ACQUITY™ Premier System—manufactured in a renewable-powered, resource-efficient facility—also demonstrates responsible chemical management, 25–40% recycled content, sustainable packaging, and a long product lifetime, further reducing environmental impact across energy consumption, manufacturing, and shipping.
